Podcast Number 53: In Which We Teach Dinah How to Edit and Post the Podcasts
Roy and ClinkShrink are the tinkering Geeks, and finally, they are teaching Dinah to edit and post the podcasts. Roy has declared he'd rather poke his eyes out with a fork, but ClinkShrink has endless patience (and patients). Four minutes into the editing and Dinah said, "Wait, we've been talking for four minutes and we haven't said anything!" Clink responded, "Exactly." And so we ramble about the following:
- We invite listeners to give an iTunes review and Roy longs for a Wikipedia entry for Shrink Rap.
- Gary Small's book The Naked Lady Who Stood on Her Head
- A brief mention of Koro, a delusion about shrinking genitals
- Whether or not people like obnoxious TV doctors, and again we're back to talking about House (and Frazier, and Tony Soprano and Mad Men, and Apple TV.....)
- M: The first movie ever made about a serial killer in 1931: ClinkShrink gives it two thumbs up.
- URAC: An insurance accrediting company that Roy likes.
We're hoping to get on a more regular podcasting schedule! Thank you for listening.

Thanks a lot for your advice guys, it helped me a lot, I went to www.saveabreakup.com and followed their step by step instructions and it worked perfectly, now me and my girlfriend are back together.
Dinah already posts the vast majority of the blog posts. Posting is certainly not a chore that rotates evenly among the trio. Now Dinah is also supposed to do post-production on the podcasts and she is not even comfortable with technology? This makes me think of a marriage in which the wife does all the cooking and shopping and every once in a while the husband tosses a few burgers on the grill. The husband, seeing what a good thing he has going, decides to teach the wife how to mow and edge the lawn, plus wash and wax the car. So what if she knows nothing about lawns or cars? Give her a lesson on how to do it and have the teenage son video-tape it for a few laughs.
Sunny CA-- Thank you for the support! Please rest assured that I dragged Clink and Roy into blog and then the book only kinda-sorta willingly.... Roy has done the vast majority of podcasts and they each take a lot of time. They both seem to be drowning in committees and the podcast editing has lost it's excitement, so I offered to try to help. These projects are for fun, and on a when-we-feel inspired basis. For some reason, after years of it, I still seem to feel inspired to write a blog post a couple of times a week. The novelty is gone, but I still love it.
If Roy and I ever shared a lawn, we'd probably kill each other.
Dinah,
I'm glad you go to the trouble. I appreciate you and your blog being here.
I'm tossing a couple burgers on the grill this weekend. Oh, about that lawn-edger...
I wanted a photo of the happy couple:
