Practice "Safe Stress"

The Stress Doc from fraser fraze on Vimeo.

Our last guest blogger, Dr. Moto-Castillo sent this to me.  Oy, is it bad.  But perhaps worth a laugh or two?  None of the Shrink Rappers have anything to do with this.

Happy 4th of July!

  1. Omg I got through the first 30 or 40 seconds but couldn't finish it. There's a fine line between light-hearted and entertaining public education and pandering for attention. Maybe it's the eye of the beholder. Like Dinah said, none of us Shrink Rappers have any connection with that.

  2. Oh my! I'm keeping my deepest thoughts to myself on this one, as I just could not finish the video. The only thing I can say is that I only needed 20 seconds to make a diagnosis - that is, if he were my patient...

Oh yeah, I don't think you needed to clarify that there is/was a relationship between this video and Shrink Rap - y'all are on opposite spectrums!

Happy safe and wondrous 4th of July to all!

  4. I'm glad to read the rapper was not the guest blogger. I was a little confused.

  5. For those who did not finish the video, the reason the former blogger forwarded it must be that the guy does "rap music" at thr end that he calls "shrink rap". Most of my students in middle and high school teaching could do a better job rapping, but thr message in thr rap was solid, and no flaky. So way does this guy strike me as crazy-looking? I don't know, but he is one weird dude. Also, I doubt I would advertise consulting with the post office. The post office? So did the postal workers watch this ar a convention? If so, does anyone think they were having too much fun on taxpayer money?
