This is not a party endorsement. This pic is in honor of my friends, colleagues and relatives who have elephant affiliations or are living with elephants.

An elephant is not a giraffe.
ReplyDeleteHow would you feel if I gave you a chicken in place of a duck? Or placed dead chicken organs in your mail box. Think about it.
An elephant is not a giraffe. Period.

Alas, an elephant is also not a donkey. Never fear, we mulish ones will have our celebration in 2008. In the meantime feel free to send the chicken, particularly since you usually offer to send the duck baked and covered in sauce.
ReplyDeleteOr I'll settle for turkey and sweet potatoes in a couple weeks.
Finally, we'll get some equines who know how to make love not war.
ReplyDeletePart of me wonders, though, if having a Mormon as Majority leader will make the "mormon question" issue that will arise if Mitt Romney runs (I can't remember if he's declared or not) a bit easier to deal with.
ReplyDeleteI'm Mormon too, for those who didn't know.
I'm not sure that I'd vote for a guy just because they're my religion, although that's probably more of an issue with people who are in a, well, a bit of a different religion (Christians, although many say we're not, but we are The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I'm not going to debate that issue), than for people in more, well, understood religions. There's alot of misinformation and misunderstandings out there about mine.
Sorry to go off on that, but it'll be an issue if and when he runs. And with Harry Reid going to become the Senate Majority leader, I just wondered at the irony of a Democrat making something possibly a bit easier for a Republican. Lol.
I meant what I said
ReplyDeleteAnd I said what I meant....
